I am having a recurring problem of my webcam flickering during video calls. It is an Unzano UHD Very generic cam with no manufacturer-provided drivers. The webcam flickers during Teams video calls but does not flicker when on the Teams "Device settings" page, or within the Windows "Camera" app. Both attendees of the video call and I see the flicker. It is distracting enough where I end up turning off the web cam.

I have a same issue but with Mac mini M1 and Big sur I have a Vitade H Pro. Teams version: 1. I have the problem of brightness after a few seconds with a Vitade HDG 60 FPS and after several attempts, I solved by running the application "facetime" in the background.
The image becomes very clear and precise. I doubt the "protocol" of microsoft teams because it works with Facebook Messenger as well as Facetime flawlessly. Do you know if the problem is listed and that it will be solved? I also using USB standard windows 10 drivers, updating Windows 10 does not resolve this issue within Teams.. I recently moved from using my Logitech Brio with my Surface Book 3 and instead am using a desktop computer for my day-to-day meetings, it's a Dell.

Noticed that after disabling auto-exposure and low light compensation it stopped flickering during the test calls though the Microsoft teams or skype. But then was having a work related call and the issue started again - probably because during the call it takes the default settings and the low light compensation got enabled.
Was thinking it was the serious hardware problem, but after reading your message just changed the USB port and looks the issue is gone! I have connected everything through the laptop docking station, and I noticed before one of the USBs acted weird - either mouse or keyboard connected to it starts "lagging". Hence, looks the most often cause of this problem is the signal transferring and most usual bottleneck there is USB port Thank you for reply, yes we tried swapping USB port but the situation was the same, we did not try a USB hub, we did find that the Lenevo Model Laptop which had built video card was causing the issue with Teams, however, did not have te issue with Zoom, Goto Meeting or Webex.
Change over the laptop to another brand and worked. We tried all three Lenovo Laptops all same model expereinced the same issue with Teams.. Must be some compatibility issue with Teams and the Model laptops we had.. All were 8th Gen I7's.
Thanks why disabling disabling video auto correction functions helped as it lowered the CPU usage, not sure why switching USB temporary helped, but I guess it also somehow caused the temporary CPU usage drop. I checked the processes and the main user was "windows image acquisition".
Strangely, I remember I just turned the laptop off and then on, and the issue is gone for now at least for a few days - previous restarts didn't help, this time somehow it got fixed. Might be it was bad windows upgrade which did it? Choose where you want to search below Search Search the Community.

Using microsoft teams for video calls -
In Teams for personal and small business use you can make a one-to-one or group call продолжить up to 20 participants from any of your chats. Tip: If you want to host a call with more than 20 participants, create an instant meeting or schedule a meeting. From the Chat tab, select the chat with the person you want to call.
